8 Connecting to your host computer The computer sends data to the printer through a cable to the printer’s interface (Serial Interface Connector Type: D-sub 25-pin or Parallel Interface Connector Type: 36-pin Centronics compatible). 10 Connecting to a peripheral unit You can connect a peripheral unit to the printer using a modular plug. The following describes how to install the ferrite core and make the actual connection.
