ENGLISH 4 Opening the printer cover o Press in on the printer cover release to disengage the hook that holds the printer cover in place and swing the cover up to open it. Allow the cover to swing all the way open until it stops. o To close the cover, swing it back down into position. Next, press in on the printer cover release and guide the tab into the slot so the cover locks securely in place. Installing the ribbon cassette o Make sure that the printer is turned off

ENGLISH 10 Important! Note that the receipt printer mechanism consists of an auto-cutter unit (on top) and a roller unit (on the bottom), and that the auto-cutter unit can be raised by itself. 13 Using slip paper The following procedure describes how to print on slip paper using the slip printer. ENGLISH 16 o After letting go of the near-end sensor release, grasp the release between your thumb and forefinger and try moving it left and right, without pressing down on the release. If this does not cause the near-end sensor release to move, it means that it is set properly. Should the near-end sensor move at this time, however, it means that the pointer was between two settings. Double check to make sure that the pointer is now indicating the sensor position you want to use. If no
