You must plug a hospital-grade UPS system into a hospital-grade outlet to achieve ground- ing reliability. UL2601-1 listed UPS systems only meet UL standard 2601-1 for medical 1 equipment when plugged into a hospital- grade outlet. Your UPS will run a self-test after it is plugged in.
