Safety Safety rules Safety of persons A UPS has its own internal power source (the battery). Consequently, the power outlets may be energised even if the UPS is disconnected from the AC-power source. 3. Operation 3.1 Start-up The protected equipment connected to the UPS can be energised, whether AC input power is available or not. Press the ON / OFF button 23 .
