Installation Installing the exhaust hose In order to be used effectively, the exhaust hose must be mounted to the back of the unit. 1. Make sure the rectangular vent connector is fitted to one end of the exhaust hose and fit the round adapter to the other end. 2. Window installation This portable air conditioner ships with a plastic window kit for temporary mounting in standard windows. The plastic window kit comes in three sections, and its size is adjustable. If you window is too small to fit the plastic window kit in, the parts may be easily cut to size with a hacksaw.
