About the HD/HDV and SD/DV Specifications Throughout the manual we will distinguish between the video signal standards used by the camera section, and the recording standards used by the recorder section. Preparing the Camcorder Dioptric Adjustment Turn on the camcorder and adjust the dioptric adjustment lever. Prevent direct sunlight from getting in the viewfinder.
