Operator's Instruction Manual Getting Started This section outlines how to unpack the cash register and get it ready to operate. You should read this part of the manual even if you have used a cash register before. Introducing CE-2400 Mode key There are two types of mode keys: the owner key (marked “OW”) and the operator key (marked “OP”). Two of each type of key comes packed with the cash register. The owner key can be used to set the mode switch to any position, while the operator key can select the REG and OFF positions only.
