1 Hardware Overview 1.1 Features The Toshiba PORTEGE Z830 Satellite Z830 Series Personal Computer uses extensive Large Scale Integration (LSI), and Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology extensively to provide compact size, minimum weight, low power usage and high reliability. 1 Hardware Overview Batteries The computer has two batteries: a rechargeable Lithium-Ion main battery pack and RTC battery (that backs up the Real Time Clock and CMOS memory.
