1 Plug one end of a modem cable (D) into the modem connector (A) on the back of the PC (C). To connect the Ethernet connector to the network: 1 Plug the network cable into the Ethernet connector (A) on the back of the PC. standby mode When the PC is in standby mode, it goes into a low-power state, and the monitor is blank as if it is turned off.
