Remote Management The "Remote Management" feature can restrict remote user login from the WAN port. The IP setting of "0.0.0.0" allows user from any IP address to remote logged in to the device. When the 'Enabled" is not checked, remote login is disabled. The remote user can login using WAN IP. The default port Hint number is 8080. Dynamic IP Under this mode, VIP-462DG enables DHCP client to get IP address automatically from your service provider. The Host Name is optional, but may be required by some Service Provider’s.
