Chapter 4: Installation 4.0 Installation The 8X8 DVI-D Matrix Switch has a durable metal casing and can be stacked with other devices. It is also rackmountable and can be installed on a standard 19 inch rack. It is recommended to leave a 1U space between the units to allow easy access for cable installation. Figure 4-1. Chapter 4: Installation 4.1 Connecting using Input and Output Terminals The 8X8 DVI-D Matrix Switch may receive signals from DVD players, computers, graphics workstations, and other digital non-HDCP signals.
