Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 General Description The ARC-101, ATM Rate & Media Converter, provides transparent ATM rate and media conversion between two interfaces by extracting ATM cells from one interface at one rate and sending them over a different interface at a different rate. Chapter 2 Installation This chapter contains mechanical and electrical installation procedures for connecting the ARC-101 to the main power supply, as well as cabling the ATM links and monitor (control) port. 2.1 General The ARC-101 is delivered completely assembled for bench-top installation.
