Connectors J3 and J6 are shielded 68-pin VHDCI right-angle receptacles that protrude through the back panel bracket. See Figure 2.1 for the location of these connectors. 2.2.2 Inserting the Host Adapter For safe and proper installation, check the user’s manual supplied with your computer and perform the following steps. Step 1. Ground yourself before removing the host adapter board. Remove the LSIU40HVD from the packing and check that it is not damaged. An example of this board is shown in Figure 2.1. Step 2.
