Make sure that the AlphaShield's Cable/xDSL port is not being connected to the computer's Network port. If all of the above is correct, the cable could be faulty. AlphaShield Professional Edition is in Manual or Lock Mode and the user is not creating enough user activity to reset the inactivity disconnect timer.
