How Lowrance GPS and the GPS System Work You'll navigate a little easier if you understand the basics of how the iWAY 500 scans the sky to tell you where you are and where you're going. To reduce the iWAY's output level, pressing and hold the SPEAK key until the Sounds menu appears. Notice that there are independent Voice Volume and Music Volume controls. A special lint-free, microfiber towel is included for cleaning the unit’s screen. The towel is highly effective in clearing away smudges and fin- ger prints. Just wipe the screen with the dry towel — it's not necessary to moisten the towel with water. If you lose the towel or wear it out, you can replace it with a similar microfiber cloth.
