iPod docking Your cradle has an iPod dock facility which allows you to play digital audio folders and video soundtracks held on your iPod using the headphone of your cradle. Your cradle uses the iPod Universal Dock connector developed for use with iPods. Docking your iPod by dock adapter Place the iPod Universal Dock Adapter into the iPod docking recess so that it is securely seated. 1. Carefully place your iPod onto the Universal Dock connector. 2. Press the On / Standby button to switch on your cradle. 3. To select the iPod mode press the Media button until “iPod” shows on the display. Using SD cards or USB memory devices Secure Digital (SD or SDHC) cards or USB memory devices can be used with the MMC-96i RS for playback of MP3 or WMA folders. The SD card reader and USB ports are located on the right side of the cradle. The MMC-96i RS has been tested with a range of SD cards and USB memory devices. SD cards up to 2GB and SDHC cards up to 16GB are supported. However, there are many different card variants available and not all cards can be guaranteed to work in the MMC-96i RS.

Sleep function Your cradle can be set to turn off after a preset time has elapsed. The sleep setting can be adjusted between 15 and 120 minutes. 1.
