CHANGING SPEEDS The GEAR SHIFT LEVER is used to change speeds. Always stop the mixer before changing speeds. To change speeds, push the STOP button, move the gear shift lever to the desired speed, and restart the mixer by pushing the START button. NOTE: If you do not stop the mixer to change speeds, it will automatically shut itself off and you will have to restart it after changing speeds.
