Cookware Baking trays, oven dishes etc., should not be placed directly against the grid covering the fan at the back of the oven. Do not use baking trays larger than 30cm x 35cm (12" x 14") as they will restrict the circulation of heat and may affect performance. THE MAIN OVEN - CONVENTIONAL SETTING USES OF THE CONVENTIONAL OVEN This main oven function uses the top and lower elements to give single level cooking. This is particularly suitable for dishes which require extra base browning such as pizzas, quiches and flans. Gratins, lasagnes and hotpots which require extra top browning also cook well in the conventional oven. This form of cooking gives you the opportunity to cook without the fan oven in operation.
