The Quantum Big Screen Microscope is designed for use by children age 6 years and older. Its
unique design invites young scientists to take a closer look at the wonders of the microscopic
world. Using the Quantum Big Screen Microscope, children can focus in on objects they collect,
or slides that have been prepared for them. The Quantum is an excellent tool to spark children's

2) Changing the Bulb (Figure 3 & 4) Allow the bulb to cool before replacing it. Unplug the Quantum and remove the faceplate and condensing lever; see Figure 3. Grasp the light module and turn to the left to unlock it. Lift up and the light module should come out with ease. Replace the light module with the one included in the set. 4. Store your Quantum in a moisture-free place. Moisture on the lamp can reduce the light intensity. 8) CAUTION! • Use only 2 "C" batteries. • To remove batteries, see "Inserting Batteries". Eine Probe muss sehr dünn sein, damit sie vom Licht durchdrungen werden kann, z.B. Haare, Seidenpapier oder ein Blatt. Am besten hilft ein Erwachsener dabei, ein sehr dünnes Stück von einer Probe abzuschneiden. Wenn eine Probe zu dick ist, kann sie nicht betrachtet werden, weil Licht sie nicht durchdringen kann.
