GETTING STARTED INSERTING THE BATTERY Lift the battery door tab and remove the battery door. Attach one 9-volt alkaline battery and replace the battery door. NOTE: Use only high quality alkaline batteries. Do not use heavy duty or lithium batteries. It is recommended that the battery be replaced at least once every 12 months.
