DSM250 User’s Manual 2 Installation 2.1 Unpacking the Box When unpacking the box containing the Maretron DSM250, you should find the following items: ® • 1 – DSM250 NMEA 2000 Multi-function Graphic Display • 4 – Mounting studs • 4 – Mounting washers • 4 – Mounting lock washers • 4 – Mounting knurled nuts • 1 – DSM250 User’s Manual • 1 – Warranty Registration Card If any of these items are missing or damaged, please contact Maretron. 2.2 Choosing a Mounting Location The DSM250 is

® ® a. Make sure the studs are fully inserted into the back of the DSM250 but don’t over tighten the studs. b. Do not use threadlocking compounds containing methacrylate ester, such as Loctite Red (271), as they will cause stress cracking of the plastic enclosure. 6.
