Preparation Before first using the computer, make sure you are familiar with the individual components of your system. Inserting the Battery The battery is included in the notebook’s shipping contents. This battery is only partially charged. Note that the charging time for the battery is 2.5 hours if the computer is switched off, or 4.5 to 6 hours if the computer is switched on. It is absolutely essen- tial to fully charge the battery for initial op- eration! Do not unplug the power adapter until the battery is fully charged.
