Battery Removing The Battery 1. Follow the procedures in Before Working On Your Computer. 2. Remove the Secure Digital (SD) card. 3. Remove the base cover. 4. Lift the black cable-release clip to release the battery cable from the connector on the system board and disconnect the battery cable. 5.
