Use the appropriate instructions below to connect the scanner to the terminal, PC or other host device. Getting Started LED and Beeper Indicators The scanner’s beeper sounds and its green LED illuminates to indicate various functions or errors on the scanner. The tables below list these indications. One exception to the behaviors listed in the tables is that the scanner’s functions are programmable, and may or may not be turned on. Error Codes Error Codes Upon startup, if the scanner flashes its indicator LED or sounds an unexpected series of beep tones (other than normal power-up indications), this means the scanner has not passed its auto- 1 matic Selftest and has entered FRU isolation mode.
