SPEAKER CONNECTION Turn your amplifier OFF before connecting speakers. This will avoid damage which could result from accidental shorting of speaker cables. Your speakers are equipped with binding posts that can be used with banana, pin or spade connectors, as well as with bare wire. (FAQ) FREQUENTLY ASKEd QUESTIONS How do I clean my speakers and subwoofer? Just use a dust free cloth or a soft brush to remove the dust from your speakers. Will my electric bill go ‘sky high’ by leaving my subwoofer plugged in all the time? No. The MLT-2 5.1 subwoofer, when the power switch is set to ‘Auto On’, will draw about 12 watts when idle and only 12 watts in standby mode. Should I unplug my subwoofer during a thunderstorm?
