MySQL EtherneTV Portal Server is shipped with MySQL as the database. The MySQL database is installed as part of the Portal Server installation package. If the hardware/software combination was purchased from VBrick, MySQL will already be installed on your machine; the default user name is root. Users in the Internet zone have the Add Video page available only if they have permissions for at least one VOD server that is also in the Internet zone. • Internet servers do not support ETV scheduling features. ETV Set Top Box EtherneTV-STBs access the ETV Portal Server through a web browser within the Set Top Box. Using the Set-Top Box remote control, users can navigate and search for specific on- demand content or live video streams, select a stream, and begin viewing television-quality video.
