Introduction and Overview ® ™ The Wacom Cintiq 18SX Interactive Pen Display combines an LCD display with a Wacom tablet. This gives you a direct point-and-draw-on-screen interface that can be used with a Personal Com- ® ™ ® puter (PC), Macintosh computer, or SGI or Sun workstation. Cintiq’s basic components include a Wacom tablet internally mounted behind an 18.1” diagonal TFT color LCD display, and Wacom’s Grip Pen. Note that the computer treats the two parts of Cintiq (the LCD display and the Wacom tablet) as separate pieces of hardware. U N P A C K I N G T H E C I N T I Q S T A N D When unpacking Cintiq, first unpack the modular display stand. Place the stand on your desktop or work surface, making sure the stand is stable and will not tip or fall when the Interactive Pen Display is mounted on it. Then familiarize yourself with the stand components.
