Stylistic 1200 Pen Tablet Features 1 Features and controls that you use to operate the Stylistic 1200 pen tablet are described briefly below. Details on how to use these features are given later in this manual. • Status display: Indicates the operational status of the pen tablet. • Pen: The main pointing device that you use to run programs and enter data. Chapter 2 Using the Stylistic 1200 Pen Tablet This chapter covers the fundamental concepts, basic system operation and use, and system functions that you need to be familiar with to use the Stylistic 1200 pen tablet. When you use the Stylistic 1200 pen tablet, you can change the current system state in a number of ways, depending on what state the system is in. To determine the current system state, observe the Power icon in the Status display. The following table gives the different system states represented by the Power icon and describes how you can change the system state from the current state. (Note that if the Power icon is not visible, either the Fully Off or Suspend-to-Disk state is indicated.)

Starting the System 2 Follow the procedure below to start the Stylistic 1200 pen tablet. Before you begin, confirm that the system is in the Fully Off state. To do so, observe the Status display. If the Power icon is not visible in the Status display, the system is in the Fully Off state and it is safe to perform this procedure.
