Setting up the Meridian is a simple three-step process: installing the batteries, selecting the language to be used and initializing the Meridian. The Magellan Meridian uses two AA batteries that are installed from the back through the battery cover. Use the UP/DOWN arrows on the keypad to highlight the language you desire. With the language highlighted, press the ENTER button.
