Section 3 OIL FEED INSTALLATION 3.1 OIL FEED INSTALLATION A. The supercharger uses engine oil for lubrica- tion and must have an oil feed line connected to a filtered oil access on the engine. B. Section 5 FUEL PUMP BOOST REFERENCE 5.1 FUEL PUMP BOOST REFERENCE Some kits come with a boost referenced fuel pump. For these kits, simply install the fuel pump and complete steps E to G. *** NOTE *** A stock fuel pump may be satistactory for mild engines. The following steps will allow the mechanical pump to increase fuel pressure in proportion to boost pressure.(I.E.: stock fuel pressure = 5 psi @ 0 psi boost / supercharged fuel pressure = 12 psi @ 7 psi boost.
