GETTING STARTED > USING SIMULATOR MODE GPS tab Using Simulator Mode Simulator Mode is great for practicing with the unit if you are indoors or when satellite signals are not available. All waypoints and routes created in Simulator Mode are retained in memory for future use. NOTE: Do not try to navigate using Simulator Mode because the GPS receiver is turned off.
