1.3 Choosing the Mounting Location For a reliable GPS signal, selecting the best location for the receiver is very impor- tant. It can be mounted on a pole, rail, or flat surface. Attach a terminator at the ends of the backbone ® cable. Only two termination resistors are required on an NMEA 2000 network.
