SECTION 2: GAS REQUIREMENTS For Massachusetts Installations: 1. Shut-off valve must be a “T” handle gas cock. 2. Flexible gas connector must not be longer than 36 inches. 3. SECTION 3: SITE PREPARATION BUILT-IN INSTALLATIONS Determine a suitable location for the barbecue by taking into account exposure to wind and availability of gas and electrical supplies. Exposure to wind should be minimized, as wind can adversely affect cooking performance. Insure that the gas supply line and electrical supply are located in close proximity to the unit to keep connections to the unit as short as possible and allow for installation and removal of the unit from the enclosure.
