ARMING THE SYSTEM - PASSIVE (AUTOMATIC) If the passive arming feature has been selected: 1. Turn the engine off, exit the vehicle, and close all doors, hood and trunk. TO BEGIN THE AUTOMATIC START UP TIMER 1. Turn the ignition key on then off. 2. Within 10 seconds, activate the RF start command two times.
