2. Drill a hole in one area of the cutout area that will allow the blade of a jigsaw to be inserted. Insert and cut out the area on the panel using the jigsaw. 3. NMEA CONNECTIONS The CP500 PWR ACC 1 connector is also used to attach NMEA devices such as AIS Receivers, digital instruments, Personal Computers, autopilots and the optional FF520 BOX FISH FINDER. *NOTE: AIS RECEIVER OPTION (for more information on AIS refer to Section 14) When an optional AIS receiver is connected, Port 1 of the NMEA In/Out Communication Setup menu must be changed to AIS 38400 as shown below for communications. 1. 3. CONTROLS AND INDICATORS 3.0 CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS Using the keys located on the front panel controls the CP500. These labelled keys are dedicated to specific functions. As you press a key, a single audio beep confirms the key action; every time a key press is not valid, three rapid beeps sound to indicate that the key action is not valid.
