Choosing a Location To help guarantee trouble-free operation of your fax machine, place it in a spot where: It’s not in direct sunlight or excessive humidity. It is not close to heating or air conditioning vents. Its ventilation openings aren’t blocked. Its cords won’t get in the way of people or other equipment.
