2 OPERATION Turning Power On and Off Press POWER on the front panel or remote control to turn the DCH receiver on or off (standby). When using the remote control, be sure it is in cable mode by pressing CABLE before pressing POWER. 2 OPERATION Alert Screens In certain scenarios, the DCH receiver will generate an on-screen alert banner if an issue is detected with the CableCARD. These scenarios include: • Removal of the CableCARD • Insertion of an unsupported CableCARD • Invalid security certificate provided by the CableCARD • Invalid pairing between the CableCARD and the DCH receiver Important: Please contact your cable operator immediately if any of these scenarios occur.
