Cleaning the Collection Grid This model features 3 highly charged collection blades separated by 2 oppositely charged “driver” blades. This improves the particle capture rate. Clean the grid every one or two weeks. As a reminder, the Cleaning Overdue indicator turns amber after two weeks. If the Cleaning Overdue indicator turns red, the unit has shut down because of excessive dirt or circuitry problems. In most cases, a thorough cleaning returns the unit to normal operation. 1. Otherwise, clean the lamp after installing to remove fingerprints and oils.
