10 Using the Software on the Windows Platform – Preparations This chapter explains how to install the software. Read this before connecting the camera to the computer for the first time. Installing the Software Start by installing the software from the DIGITAL CAMERA Solution Disk. •Install the software before you connect the camera to the computer. •You must have authorization as a Computer System Administrator to install programs. •A sound card is required to play movie file audio tracks.

When you click [OK] in the image transfer completion window, the transferred images will display in the Main Window.
