x Introduction System requirements for Macintosh users For installation of user software, you need a CD-ROM drive. This can be either an internal CD-ROM drive in your computer or an external drive with the appropriate cable and software to run on your computer. 8 Installing user software on a Windows computer • If you are using TCP/IP, set up a Domain Name Server (DNS) for the IP address of the DocuColor in the printcap file. If your network does not support DNS servers, edit the HOSTS file in your WINDOWS directory and insert an IP address for the DocuColor. (See your system documentation for information.)
