Preventing Malfunctions Avoid Strong Magnetic Fields Never place the camera in close proximity to electric motors or other equipment generating strong electromagnetic fields. Exposure to strong magnetic fields may cause malfunctions or corrupt image data. Preparing the Camera Charging the Battery Pack Use the following procedures to charge the battery pack the first time you use the camera or when the “Change the battery pack” message displays.
