BASIC HOOKUP METHODS Use one of these methods to connect a signal to your TV. CLOSED-CAPTIONING Captioning is textual information transmitted along with the picture and sound so it can be displayed on the TV screen. Because different types of captions can be transmitted with the QuickTips TV signal, separate captioning modes are provided.
