Installing the Charger You can power the charger usingthe supplied 9V, 210 mAA C adapter. Insert the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug into the DC IN 9V jack on the bottom ofthe charger . Route the cord through thestrain relief slot and plug theadapter intoa standard AC outlet. Caution: You must use a Class 2 power source that supplies 9V DC and delivers at least 210 mA. Its center tip must be set to positive and its plug must fit the charger’s DC IN 9V jack. The

Before using your phone, you must install the battery pack, and then charge itfor about 15-20 hours. 1. Pressdown and slide the battery compartment cover off. 2. Plugthe battery pack’s connector into the socket in the compartment (the connector fits only one way), then placethe battery pack in thecompartment. MODELS VARY! About once a month, fully discharge the battery by keeping the handset offthe base or chargeruntil LOW BATTERY stays lit.Otherwise, the battery packloses its ability to fully recharge.
