Character Switching The keypad can be used to enter numbers, upper and lower case letters and symbols. Press the number key multiple times to rotate through the characters available using that button. To scan through the choices for each key, you must press the key rapidly: within 2 seconds of the previous press. Changing the Display Language The default language used by your MFP for display messages and for report printing is English. Getting Started Releasing the Scanner Lock Caution! Make sure the scanner is in the UNLOCKED position before operating. 1. Open the document cover. 2.
