3. Align the plastic connector of the Nickel-Cadmium battery pack with its socket and plug it in. Note: The black lead will be on the left when the plug is properly aligned. 4. Place the battery pack inside the battery compartment, and slide the battery cover back on. Note: The built-in Memory Backup feature allows up to 3 minutes to disconnect the old battery pack and install a new one without losing any numbers stored in memory. 20
