Installing Your CT301 Selecting the Installation Location You should carefutly select the installation location for freedom from excessive heat or humidity (as in a kitchen or bathroom), and away from sources of electrical noise, (such as motors or fluorescent lighting). Reversing the Handset Retainer 1. Remove the Handset Retainer from the Base Unit by sliding it upward. 2. Flip the Retainer over so the tab is facing up. 3. Slide the retainer back into the Base Unit. NOTE: If you put the Retainer back into the Base Unit incorrectly, it will jam, and you'll need to pry it up with a screwdriver. Using Your CT301 Dialing a Number To dial a number with your CT301, first remove the Handset from the cradle. Next, press the TALK button. The BATT LO LED will then light.
