Unloading tape cartridges To unload a tape cartridge, perform the following steps. 1. Make sure that the 100/200 GB HH LTO Internal Tape Drive is turned on. 2. Press the Unload button. The drive rewinds the tape and places the tape cartridge in the unload position.
