5. Jumpers 1. Clear CMOS (3-pin CLRTC) This jumper allows you to clear the RAM data in CMOS, except the system date and time. The RAM data in CMOS, is powered by the onboard button cell battery. To erase the CMOS RAM: 1. Turn OFF the computer and unplug the power cord. 2. Move the jumper cap from pins 2-3 (Default) to pins 1-2 (Clear CMOS).
