8900-UM.qxp 5/11/06 2:32 PM Page 4 Valet Mode 3-Button Transmitter The Valet Mode allows you to temporarily turn off the passive arming function, eliminating the need to give your transmitter to a parking attendant or garage mechanic. To enter the Valet Mode, follow these steps: 1. Press the “Disarm” button on your transmitter to insure the device is disarmed (you will hear 2 beeps). 2. Within 3 seconds of pressing the disarm button, press and release the “Valet On” button 3 times slowly.

This condition occurs if the your transmitter battery is low, dead or if your transmitter becomes damaged or lost.
