6. Permanently ground the motor using the green ground terminal Bonding Lug located on the inside of the motor canopy or access plate, see Figure 1. Use the correct wire size and type specified by National Electrical Code. Make sure the ground wire is connected to an electrical service ground. Ground Screw 7.
